When your Virtual Existence is threatened
When your Virtual Existence is threatened
Not all Virtual worlds will suffer the same fate our world has endured. Most MMO's have a development team and staff that ensure issues and updates keep the players interested. But what will you do when your game company tells you that the game, world, safe-haven that you are accustom too is being shutdown?

History repeats itself
This is not the first time Electronic Arts has destroyed a world with the hearts of players still beating inside. Other games closed by Electronics Arts are Motor City Online and Earth and Beyond. Maybe The Sims Online wasn't for everybody but kindness, sharing and helping your fellow gamer should be a priority.

Support your fellow gamers
Negativity of others has brought the moral of Online Gamers to a new low. If World of Warcraft closed tomorrow (it might never, this is just an example), would their players appreciate others posting on forums around the net that it's okay the game sucked? Was a sissy game? Of course not, that is just adding to the misery of others, instead stand proud, support your fellow gamers and join our campaign.

  • Hundreds of games have closed, why is The Sims Online so different?
Its not, we would show the same support for all our fellow gamers, who else will help us? There are not many game advocacy's or game unions in this day in age.
We believe The Sims Online should remain online forever, as part of the history of online games. The Sims Online is not for everyone but we believe everyone should have the opportunity to at least try the game once. The marketing and maintenance for The Sims Online was extremely poor and the game was launched long before it was ready.
